About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Yail Harbor Inc. as a Direct Support Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for our clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Shopping and Errands: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, ensuring they have access to essential goods and services.
  • Transportation and Appointments: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and other activities, promoting their independence and mobility.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role, as you will be responsible for transporting clients.
  • Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift and move objects as needed.
  • Repetitive Tasks: You will be required to perform repetitive tasks, such as cleaning and household chores, as part of your duties.
