The Opportunity

As a Branch Operations Manager at Wajax, you will be responsible for leading and directing Branch employees to achieve strategic and operational vision. You will manage branch operations to achieve company targets and ensure a safe and productive atmosphere.

The Role

  1. Communicate with key stakeholders and the ERS Leadership team to adopt optimal service scenarios.
  2. Participate in project kick-off meetings to inform future projects.
  3. Implement strategies to minimize service impact.
  4. Ensure daily that loads and non-loads are in line with annual objectives.
  5. Follow the daily financial report to remain on budget.
  6. Control workshop expense budget to meet expected results.
  7. Prioritize projects for best monthly return.
  8. Prepare disciplinary meetings and refer problem cases.
  9. Carry out performance appraisals and salary reviews.
  10. Participate in job interviews and select candidates.
  11. Implement programs, strategies, policies, and procedures as prescribed.
  12. Prepare and administer annual budgets and monthly updates.
  13. Identify performance improvement opportunities and promote best practices.
  14. Manage branch personnel performance, safety, training, and customer service.

The Candidate

Education: University/College Degree or Diploma and relative leadership experience.

Work Experience: 4-6 years related work experience in a leadership role.

Knowledge: Experience working with budgets, analyzing reports, and developing targets.
