Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Ganesh Hospitality Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, motel, and resort facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and physically demanding.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
