Job Summary

Ganesh Hospitality Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, motel, or resort.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks. Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and a team player.
Work Conditions

40 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
