- Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, serving, and feeding patients.
- Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, and assist with transfers and positioning.
- Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and provide timely assistance.
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., gerontology, nursing) or equivalent experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
- Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, Vulnerable sector check, Tuberculosis test, and Adult Abuse Registry check.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Physically demanding position requiring standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, client focus, dependability, efficiency, flexibility, initiative, judgment, patience, reliability, teamwork, and willingness to relocate.
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including learning/training paid by employer, diversity and cross-cultural training, awareness training for employees, cultural competency training, and more.
