Job Summary

The Manager of Integration, Indigenous Health will lead the development and implementation of a regional Indigenous health integration strategy, working closely with key stakeholders to enhance culturally appropriate services for Indigenous people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a regional Indigenous health integration strategy, in collaboration with other program teams.
  • Oversee the implementation of regional guidelines and ensure effective information management in Indigenous health care.
  • Provide regional leadership in strategic planning, regional coordination, project management, and evidence-informed program implementation and evaluation.
  • Work with inter-professional teams and multi-sectorial partnerships to improve Indigenous health service delivery, workforce development, education, and awareness.
Requirements
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience, with at least three years in a management leadership position.
  • Knowledge or experience of one or more clinical areas where Indigenous health services are provided.
  • Working knowledge of Indigenous health care principles and their application to health care system development.
Education and Certification
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Master's degree in a related area or a commitment to enroll in a master's degree program within two years and demonstrate substantial progress towards completion within five years.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge in policy and partnership development.
  • Ability to provide project leadership and manage complex projects.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and complete work according to established deadlines.
  • Demonstrated prior experience with program development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, including experience in presentations, group facilitation, and facilitating productive meetings.
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with a broad range of individuals and organizations.
