Interior Health Authority is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Hand Hygiene Audit Student. As a key member of the Infection Prevention and Control team, you will be responsible for observing healthcare workers' hand hygiene practices and providing feedback to staff across all levels of healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct hand hygiene audit observations, including electronic data collection
• Provide education to staff on hand hygiene practices when knowledge level allows
• Engage staff in the hand hygiene process through questions, discussions, and interactive demonstrations
• Identify staff learning needs and assess barriers to effective hand hygiene practice
• Assist in hand hygiene promotional activities and other Infection Prevention and Control initiatives or projects

Requirements
