Overview

KPMG in Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Audit to join our dynamic team in Kamloops. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, ensuring the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients. Key Responsibilities

Lead audits of clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion.Collaborate with the practice group to implement the group business plan.Work with the practice management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan.Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff.Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.Requirements

Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.7+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm.Previous experience using the various accounting frameworks applicable in Canada (IFRS, ASPE, NPO and/or Public Sector).Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business to develop and maintain strong client relationships.Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service.Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail.KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $93,500 to $139,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
