Job Title: Temporary Part-Time Reading Recovery Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Reading Recovery Teacher to join our team on a temporary part-time basis.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Reading Recovery services to students in need of additional support. This is a temporary part-time position, working 0.4 FTE, from September 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Reading Recovery services to students in need of additional support
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement individualized reading plans
  • Assess student reading abilities and progress
  • Develop and implement strategies to support student reading development
Requirements:
  • Valid teaching certification
  • Experience in Reading Recovery or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
