About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at MAIN ST CONVENIENCE. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of the store, including supervising sales staff, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to increase sales and improve merchandising displays.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train sales staff, provide coaching and feedback, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Financial Management: Manage store finances, including cash handling, reconciliations, and budgeting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
