About the Role:
As a Breakfast Cook at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our guests. This is a seasonal, full-time position that requires a high level of culinary expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast buffets for up to 150 guests, including live stations in the dining room.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and control waste.
- Check fridge, inventory, and prep list daily.
- Clean fridges on a regular basis.
- Prepare lunch for guests as needed.
- Assist with dinner prep, including salad bar, leaf salads, oysters, and mussels.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Be punctual and maintain absolute professionalism on shift.
Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized culinary program.
- Expert knowledge of breakfast cookery and knife skills.
- High level of multitasking and ability to work efficiently.
- Food Safe Certification and WHMIS required.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar position.
- Ability to frequently bend and kneel, lift moderate weight, and work on feet for an extended period.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation:
$23 per hour, plus auto gratuities, season completion bonus $1 per hour.
