Job Description

The Master's Level Social Worker will provide comprehensive therapeutic clinical counselling services to patients and families in the assigned clinical specialty area. The successful candidate will work with a close-knit interdisciplinary team to support clients and their families in a holistic approach to the End-of-Life journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive social work and psycho-social assessments of patients and families using a variety of modalities.
  • Develops, coordinates, and delivers in-services, presentations, psycho-educational groups, and initiates research activities in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Liaises with local committees and planning bodies to identify areas for improved efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Valid registration as a Master's level Social Worker with the relevant provincial college.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Scheduling Information:
