We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our IT risk governance efforts in Vancouver. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for providing independent assurance over the design and operation of CNB's IT risk management practices.

CNB is a subsidiary of RBC and headquartered in Los Angeles, California. We offer a full complement of banking, trust and investment services through 75 offices across the US.

In this role, you will work out of RBC's Internal Audit office in Vancouver but fully support the CNB IT Internal Audit team.

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $125,000-$160,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

You will facilitate audit execution relating to IT Applications and Platforms, leading and executing audit activities with an IT audit scope where there is an impact to CNB.

You will also assist with the development and implementation of an Information Technology data analytics strategy that delivers key insights to management and supporting functions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead and execute on the annual Audit Plan for CNB Platform IT audit universe.
  • Understand, analyze, and test technology application and system infrastructure controls.
  • Collaborate with business and function audit counterparts during all phases of an integrated audit.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, minimum 7 years of IT audit experience, and deep understanding of IT application or program controls, network devices, and firewalls, as well as knowledge of COBIT.

You should also have experience in use of data analytics, visualization, and reporting, as well as relevant certifications such as CISSP, CIA, CISM, or CISA.
