Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate healthcare provider to join our team at ACATCM as a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist.

About the Role:

This is a temporary full-time position with variable hours ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week, requiring registration by the appropriate provincial or territorial authority for acupuncturists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose patient illnesses and minor injuries, such as allergies and muscle strains or sprains, utilizing your expertise in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
  • Treat patients using natural remedies, lifestyle changes, and other alternative forms of healthcare, ensuring optimal well-being.
  • Administer small dosages of remedies made from natural substances, take notes on patient conditions, and provide personalized advice on herbal treatments.
  • Manipulate body parts, hands, and feet to promote relaxation and balance.
Requirements:
  • A non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years in traditional Chinese medicine or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and treating patients using traditional Chinese medicine principles.
  • Certification in acupuncture and registration with the relevant authorities.
Competitive Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
