About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  1. Patient Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, including medical history and physical examinations.
  2. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, ensuring seamless coordination with other healthcare professionals.
  3. Chronic Condition Management: Provide ongoing management of chronic conditions and acute illnesses, prioritizing patient comfort and quality of life.
  4. Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as necessary, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  5. Electronic Health Records: Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Epic for accurate documentation and data collection.
  6. Pain Management Strategies: Engage in pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort and quality of life.
  7. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate home care services when needed.
  8. Research Initiatives: Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes in family medicine.
  9. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  10. Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and advancements in family medicine.

Qualifications

  1. A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with board certification in Family Medicine is required.
  2. A valid medical license to practice in the state of employment is mandatory.
  3. Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner and Epic, is preferred.
  4. A strong understanding of medical terminology related to family medicine practices is essential.
  5. Experience in pediatrics is a plus but not mandatory.
  6. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education are crucial.
  7. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while demonstrating strong leadership qualities is vital.
  8. Commitment to continuous professional development through ongoing education and training is necessary.

Work Experience

Salary

$175,000 - $225,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
