Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Dependable Truck & Tank Limited. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Work Environment:

As a Welder at Dependable Truck & Tank Limited, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
