Role Overview

We are seeking an Equity Research Intern to join our team for Winter 2025. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and clients in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and edit research reports on small-cap equities using fundamental analysis across initiation reports, research notes, research flashes, and thematic research reports.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth financial models, including financial statement modelling, valuation, and comparative analysis.
  • Collect and organize relevant data from various sources, including financial statements, industry reports, and market data.
  • Complete ad-hoc research requests and support Analysts in all aspects of the research process.
  • Assist Atrium's leadership team with certain operational tasks upon request.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a university degree with a focus in Finance, Business, Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong accounting, financial modelling, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several ongoing projects.
  • Prior internship or coursework in finance or equity research is a plus.
  • Genuine interest in financial markets and investment analysis.
