Catering Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Compass Group Canada. This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual to lead our catering operations and provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all catering events. This will include:

  • Managing catering orders and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food and beverages
  • Coordinating with clients and internal teams to understand their needs and preferences
  • Developing and implementing menu plans that meet client requirements and exceed expectations
  • Leading a team of staff to ensure seamless event execution and excellent customer service
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to management on key performance indicators

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Hospitality or Food Service, or equivalent experience
  • At least three years of related hospitality experience in a food service environment, as well as 3 years' supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Benefits:

As our Catering Manager, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
