About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Addictions Worker to join our team at Anew Centre for Healing Ltd. As an Addictions Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions to clients, either individually or in group settings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • Experience working with individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
