About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Addictions Worker to join our team at Anew Centre for Healing Ltd. As an Addictions Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide one-on-one counseling and support to clients, focusing on skills development, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, service providers, and other stakeholders to enhance client outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
