About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addictions Worker to join our team at Anew Centre for Healing Ltd. As an Addictions Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to clients with addiction and mental health issues
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to support clients' recovery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify clients' needs and goals
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on addiction and mental health
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements
  • College diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling)
  • Experience working with individuals with addiction and mental health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
