Join AppleOne in a challenging role that requires expertise in disability management and return-to-work strategies. As an Abilities Management and Return-to-Work Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement return-to-work plans that meet the needs of employees and the organization.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage disability claims and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  3. Provide expert advice on disability management and return-to-work strategies to employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of return-to-work plans and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices in disability management and return-to-work.

Requirements:

  1. Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Minimum three years' experience in disability management and return-to-work, with expertise in WSIB, STD, and LTD claims.
  3. Certified Disability Management Professional or Certified Return to Work Coordinator designation preferred.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
