As a key member of our Peterbilt location, you will be responsible for promoting and selling heavy-duty transportation truck and trailer parts and service, as well as providing exceptional after-sales support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, keeping them informed about new products and services.
- Sales and Revenue: Meet sales revenue objectives and profit goals set by the branch, while increasing parts and service sales.
- Territory Management: Implement a yearly territory plan to ensure effective coverage and growth.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner, fostering customer loyalty.
- Collaboration: Work closely with management to meet and exceed budget goals, while expanding our customer base.
- Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel within the territory and work flexible hours.
- Professional Attitude: Positive and professional attitude to both internal and external challenges.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of specialized transportation equipment and industry.
- Time Management and People Skills: Strong time management and people skills, with a high desire to serve customers and nurture relationships.
- Independence and Decision-Making: Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions, complete tasks under pressure, and cooperate with team members who may have different focus and priorities.
- Previous Sales Experience: Previous sales experience in the Heavy Truck and Trailer equipment industry is considered an asset.
- Computer Skills: Proficient skills with basic computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and clean drivers abstract.
