Executive Chef

This exceptional leader will oversee the daily back-of-house operations of our upscale dining facility. Reporting directly to the Alpine Fine Dining Chef, they will be responsible for managing up to 15 employees.
Located at the top of Blackcomb Mountain, our fine dining restaurant, Christine's, offers an unparalleled dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Continuously strive to exceed our guests' expectations
* Provide hands-on leadership and direction to a variety of positions
* Assist with ordering and inventory controls
* Deliver consistently high-quality food presentation
* Adhere to Whistler Blackcomb budget targets
* Assist with employee training, development, and communication
* Provide quality control on all products and services
* Scheduling and labour controls
* Promote a fair, harmonious work environment
* Assist with preparation for catering and special events
* Ensure fair and consistent disciplinary action
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Comply with Food Safe and HACCP regulations
* Deliver on expectations of safety and food safety plans

Job Qualifications
* 3-5 years high-volume Bar/Restaurant Managerial experience
* 1-3 years supervising staff
* Full knowledge of cooking techniques
* Prior knowledge of variance reporting, sales mix analysis, and general office work
* Previous computer experience with Word and Excel
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Highly organized
* Motivates staff members and is a team player
