We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Review Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and creating corporate business contracts, identifying and mitigating risks that could negatively impact corporate operations.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise various business contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, and purchase agreements.
  • Conduct legal research on contract law and regulations to ensure compliance with US state, Canadian provincial, and US and Canada federal laws.
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms and conditions with external parties.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to renewal, ensuring all timelines and obligations are met.
  • Maintain and organize contract databases, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding contract requirements, terms, and updates.
  • Ensure the organization adheres to legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to contracts and proposals.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best industry practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5 or more years of experience in the Paralegal field, including contract review and creation.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and experience with MS Office.
  • Experience with Hubspot or other CRM programs is a definite asset.
  • Organized and attention to details with ability to problem solve.
