About the Role

The Q2 Contract Specialist plays a vital part in the contract operations team within the legal department. This position provides support and training for the direct, channel, and relationship management sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with coworkers, regional sales managers, account managers, and executives, as well as clients and prospective clients.
  • Enter, maintain, and ensure the integrity of contract data within Salesforce and other tracking databases.
  • Create, maintain, and update contract templates and checklists to account for new pricing, products, and services offerings.
  • Draft sales orders, amendments, SOWs, and review sales order forms for accuracy.
  • Ensure contracts and proposals are thoroughly reviewed for pricing approvals and accounting issues prior to preparing a final copy for signature.
  • Conduct proposal preparation.
  • Reply timely to interdepartmental and intradepartmental requests.
  • Train new hires on Contract Operations process and assist with Sales on-boarding.
  • Create and document contract processes and procedures and communicate changes to the appropriate team members.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
  • Must demonstrate ability to easily adapt to change and quickly learn and retain new processes and other contract related information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Salesforce needed.
