Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons in surgery and work closely with doctors to create and follow through with treatment plans.
  • Provide excellent patient education and support, including pre and post-op instructions.
  • Prepare procedure trays, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Take PANS/CEPHS and help maintain the flow of the day with clinical staff.
  • Accompany patients to consult and treatment rooms as needed, and provide patient information and treatment plans to administrators for billing.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Dental Assistant Level II program.
  • NDAEB certification.
  • HARP certification.
  • Current CPR or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous experience working in an oral surgery practice is highly preferred.
