About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Data Architect, Data Governance Expert to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Service Management Technology team, you will be responsible for designing and managing Scotia ServiceNow platform foundational data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Governance: Set standards, taxonomy, and naming conventions for Scotia ServiceNow foundational data, and engage data stewards to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Platform Data Management: Implement platform foundational data in accordance with the CSDM framework, create data access standards and procedures, and manage data-related requests.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Design, develop, and generate reports to communicate and monitor compliance, analyze exception data, and conduct control gap analysis.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with various owners of platform foundational data areas, assist DevOps and UAT teams, and communicate with non-technical users.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of CSDM 3.0 and/or 4.0, ITIL concepts, ServiceNow experience, data governance experience, and ServiceNow architecture experience.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Post-secondary education with a focus on computer science or engineering disciplines.
