Job Summary:

Kayla's Children Centre is a leading provider of specialized education and therapy services for children with disabilities and behavioural challenges. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ABA Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with classroom programs to develop and implement effective ABA strategies
  • Train and support teachers and staff on ABA principles and behaviour management
  • Run small groups in classrooms to promote social and emotional development
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address individual needs
  • Supervise and evaluate instructor therapists to ensure high-quality services
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Oversee programming for clients, including data analysis and program development
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement therapy goals and strategies
  • Responsible for curriculum development, academic, and behavioural goals
  • Responsible for creating, updating, and monitoring students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of direct clinical experience in behaviour analysis or intensive behavioural intervention
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Natural Environment Teaching, Discrete Trial Teaching, and Precision Teaching
  • SBT experience and training an asset
  • BCBA certification or pursuing BCBA certification is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while still being part of the team
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning
