Enterprise Risk Management Director

At Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Enterprise Risk Management to join our team.
About the Role:The Director, Enterprise Risk Management will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our enterprise risk management framework, ensuring that our organization's risk management practices are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework that identifies, assesses, and mitigates strategic and operational risks.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure that risk management is integrated into our strategic planning processes.
- Provide risk management guidance and support to management and employees to ensure that they understand their risk management responsibilities.
- Lead the organization's risk committee to ensure senior executive oversight of our risk management practices.
- Develop and implement risk education programs to support business/operational units in understanding and fulfilling their risk management responsibilities.
- Manage the internal audit outsourcing relationship and ensure feedback is obtained from management on performance and proactively shared with the outsourced audit partner and the FAR Committee.
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance or related field.
- Professional certification in risk management (i.e. CFA/FRM) preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years leading ERM in a same or similar scope role.
