Training and Development Professional

At Linen Chest, we're seeking a skilled Training & Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our custom window treatments industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Training Needs Assessment: Utilize various methods, including content creation, coaching, and collaboration, to assess training needs and ensure alignment with business goals and strategies.
- Training Program Design: Develop engaging training programs tailored to address the unique challenges of the custom window treatments industry, focusing on custom windows specialists and client solutions.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular support to ensure objectives are met, emphasizing lead management, client contacts, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Department Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of various business elements of the department and provide strategic input as needed, including measuring improvements in employee performance and business processes.
- Training Budget Management: Manage the department's training and development budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and collaboration with suppliers and partners.
- Support for Independent Contractors: Provide support to third-party decorators hired as independent contractors as part of our Referral and Trade Program initiatives.
- Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the custom drapery and blinds industry to provide relevant and effective training, with familiarity with Hunter Douglas and/or Alta being a plus.
- Exceptional Communication: Excel in conveying complex ideas clearly, whether through writing or in person.
- Inspirational Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage others to embrace learning and growth.
- Adaptability: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust training programs to reflect the latest technologies and methods.
- Empathy: Foster an inclusive environment and cater to different learning preferences.
- Organizational Mastery: Juggle multiple projects, keep everything on track, and stay within budget.
