Anglian Home Improvements is seeking a skilled Window Installation Apprentice to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in construction or looking to learn a trade.
This full-time, fixed-term contract for 18 months offers a chance to study and complete the relevant apprenticeship qualification. You will complete a minimum of 6 hours of study and off-the-job training to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Installer Team in removing and fitting windows and doors in residential properties.
- Liaise with the local Depot and warehouse to check lead times and collect stock.
- Learn Health and Safety protocols on and off site.
- Work on site at customers' premises.
- Participate in off-the-job learning and study.
Requirements:
- Numeracy and literacy skills, minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Ability and willingness to study for the Installer qualification, including off-the-job training opportunities.
- Accurate and organized record-keeping skills.
- Good observation and information-gathering skills, able to identify and gather relevant evidence.
- Ability to remain calm and focused.
- 46-55% of this role's time will be spent on external communication.
- Regular reviews with your line manager, develop a personal development plan, and opportunities to undertake training.
