Anglian Home Improvements is seeking a skilled Window Installation Apprentice to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn a trade and gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.

This position involves working with a team to fit and install windows and doors in residential properties. You will be trained to complete a minimum of 6 hours of study and off-the-job training to achieve the relevant apprenticeship qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Installer Team in removing and fitting windows and doors
  • Liaise with the local Depot and warehouse to check lead times and collect stock
  • Learn Health and Safety procedures on and off site
  • Work on site at customers' premises
  • Complete off-the-job learning and study

Requirements:

  • Numeracy and literacy skills, minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Ability and willingness to study for the Installer qualification, including off-the-job training opportunities
  • Accurate and organized record-keeping skills
  • Good observation and information-gathering skills, able to identify and gather relevant evidence
  • Ability to remain calm and focused
  • 46-55% of this role's time will be spent on external communication
  • Regular reviews with your line manager, develop a personal development plan, and opportunities to undertake training
