Water Process Engineer and Technical Advisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Process Engineer and Technical Advisor to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions Canada GP. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our Sales and Commercial Engineering teams, as well as developing and assessing process flowsheets for new and unique applications within the Services business.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of $113,630.4 CAD per year, plus a 10% bonus eligibility. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering. Minimum 10 years' experience in water & wastewater process engineering or equipment supply field is required, preferably with several years of hands-on working knowledge on process equipment or in a water/wastewater plant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support to Sales and Commercial Engineering teams
- Develop and assess process flowsheets for new and unique applications within the Services business
- Participate in P-table reviews prior to proposal submission to ensure proposed solutions meet treatment system goals and product specifications
- Coach and mentor other TDPV team members, sharing knowledge and background in subject matter area of expertise
- Support lifecycle cost analysis while comparing and contrasting different flowsheets to arrive at best technical approach
- Work with Sales and CE teams to apply process design strategies to increase probability of success
- Develop and maintain relationships with Regional Sales Managers and Local Representatives and other Commercial Engineering teams
