The Opportunity

WSP is seeking an experienced Project Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team on a multi-year Joint Venture Rail & Transit Infrastructure development project. The position can be located in the province of Quebec or Ontario, with a preference for the latter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and plans to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor HSE performance and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential HSE risks.
  • Develop and maintain HSE training programs for project personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HSE Manager in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
