Job Title: Network Protection Expert

Job Summary: Spicers Canada ULC is seeking an experienced Network Protection Expert to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's security infrastructure and ensuring the protection of our network and systems. This includes administering and maintaining security infrastructure, monitoring and responding to security incidents, collaborating with IT and other departments, and participating in planning and implementing new security technologies.

We have 16 regional locations across Canada, including custom manufacturing facilities and cash and carry locations. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT, with at least 1+ year of experience in cybersecurity. Key responsibilities include conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements, developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation, and providing training and support to staff on security awareness and best practices.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have a degree or diploma in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. You should also possess strong knowledge of security technologies and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection. Experience with security incident response and investigation is also required. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer: We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
