Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Watch Me Grow Child Care Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our children to grow and thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities that promote learning and exploration, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including planning and organizing activities for school-age children
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to provide comprehensive support for children and families
  • Observe and document children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need for support
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
  • Experience in child care or education an asset
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
