Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Early Learning Childcare Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes leading activities, guiding children in daily routines, and establishing collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the well-being and development of children
  • Lead activities that foster learning and socialization, such as storytelling, singing, and outings
  • Guide children in daily routines, including eating, dressing, and toileting
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents and guardians
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
