Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Broadstreet Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
