Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Broadstreet Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes for customers and patients
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
