Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ECE Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our childcare program, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education
    • Engage children in activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
    • Plan and implement educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners
    • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Childcare and Support
    • Provide physical and emotional support to children, including feeding, bathing, and dressing
    • Assist with daily routines, such as nap time and mealtime
    • Support children with special needs, including those with disabilities
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
    • Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and implement programs
    • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or a related field
    • 1-2 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
