Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Summary:
CB Canada is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled individuals and playing a direct impact in the business and growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough credit checks on new and potential customers to ensure timely payment.
- Develop and implement debt collection policies and regulations in accordance with company standards.
- Establish and enforce deadlines for invoicing and payment collection to ensure efficient cash flow.
- Monitor and analyze the invoicing and money collection processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the timely collection of payments from customers and negotiate with them in cases of non-payment.
- Prepare and present monthly feedback reports on payment collections to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, deposits, and all correspondence related to payment collection.
- Stay up-to-date with legislative procedural training regarding debt collection and provide guidance to staff members.
Requirements:
- A post-secondary education in accounting or finance.
- At least 2 years of experience as an accounts receivable manager or supervisor in a retail sales environment.
- The ability to work accurately and independently with a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong time and people management skills.
