Job DescriptionAs a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and establishing and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries.
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- Prepare tax returns.
- Prepare trial balance of books.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year experience or equivalent.
This is a temporary work opportunity with a variable schedule. The selected candidate will work approximately 35-40 hours per week.
The salary range for this position is between $40,000-$50,000 per year, depending on the candidate's qualifications and location.
