Primaris REIT is seeking a skilled Property Accountant to join our team at the Calgary Regional Office in Alberta. As a key member of our accounting team, you will provide exceptional customer service and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for our retail real estate portfolio.

The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Yardi preferred). Additionally, the ability to travel to assigned assets is necessary.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including month-end closes, actual-to-budget variance analysis, GST & QST returns, and bank reconciliations.
  • Liaise with auditors to prepare quarter-end audit packages.
  • Assist with new property acquisitions as required.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
