Role Description

The Farm Equipment Account Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling AGCO and CLAAS products to farmers and agricultural businesses within their designated territory. This role requires a strong understanding of agricultural equipment and excellent communication and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and prepare sales reports and forecasts.

Responsibilities

- Promote and sell AGCO and CLAAS products to farmers and agricultural businesses within the designated territory.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and relationship-building techniques.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, such as expanding into new markets or increasing sales to existing customers.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant data to stakeholders.

Requirements

- 1+ year of experience in agricultural equipment sales or a similar sales role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment, particularly AGCO or CLAAS products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
