Job Summary

Grimmway Farms is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Summer Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for current freshman and sophomore students to gain hands-on experience in the agricultural industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily operations of the farm, including farming, operations, and other related tasks
  • Gain experience in a professional organization and develop soft skills in support of professional development
  • Participate in team projects and contribute to the success of the department
  • Develop problem-solving skills and apply educational knowledge in a real-world setting

Internship Opportunities

Interns will have the opportunity to work in various areas, including:

  • Farming: General, Agronomy, Organics, Quality, Food Safety, Innovation
  • Operations: General, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Packaging, Purchasing, Transportation and Logistics, Construction and Engineering, Equipment Maintenance
  • Other: Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources, Safety, IT, Corporate Communication

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled full-time college student
  • Full-time status is 12 or more credit hours
  • Must have a freshman/sophomore classification
  • Qualified to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needed

What We Offer

Grimmway Farms offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.00 - $18.50, depending on the year in college. Interns will also have the opportunity to earn college credit and gain valuable work experience in the agricultural industry.
