Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Night Public Spaces Attendant to join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our public areas, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently provide professional, engaging, and friendly service to guests and colleagues
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for reporting to work, signing in and out of master keys, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Clean and maintain assigned public areas, including restrooms, mirrors, windows, and surfaces
  • Empty garbage and recyclables in public areas and report any necessary maintenance items
  • Communicate effectively with the Maintenance department regarding guest rooms and public areas
  • Adhere to all hotel environmental policies, programs, and initiatives
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
  • Able to work well independently with little supervision
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to focus attention on guests' needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
