Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Harsco Environmental. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance workers to ensure the completion of tasks and projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance workers and external contractors.
  • Manage and maintain a mixed fleet of heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a heavy industry environment.
  • Sound mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
