CEDA is seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Industrial Equipment Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment, and various specialty tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of industrial equipment
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor-intensive capacity
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
  • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, and safety documents

Requirements:

  • Valid Class G driver's license with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years
  • 1+ years experience in an industrial environment is an asset but not required
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Ability to travel throughout Ontario (flexibility in scheduling is required)

  • $23 - $25 per hour with an annual increase on March 1, plus International Union of Operating Engineers local 793 benefits and pension
