Job Title: Field Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team at MBI I.T. Services. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our clients in Calgary, AB.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware and software support, with experience in Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems. You will be responsible for uninstalling and reinstalling equipment, recording serial numbers, and installing new hardware. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Uninstall and reinstall equipment at client sites
  • Record serial numbers and move hardware to assigned locations
  • Install new hardware, including monitor arms, docking stations, and keyboards
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to clients
Requirements:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma and college or university enrollment/degree
  • Excellent technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals and procedural documentation
  • Familiar with personal computers, printers, and wireless connectivity devices
  • Possession of a car for travel between locations
  • Android 4.4+ or Apple iOS9+ or Windows Phone 8+ with a data package for email and instant messaging
  • Ability to lift a 50 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface
Rate:

$28-30/hour
